About Filter Coffee Club

An ever-evolving journey into the world of specialty filter coffee.
Like many, my coffee story began with a spoonful of instant and a splash of milk. But everything changed when I was introduced to specialty coffee back in 2015 — and suddenly, I realised coffee could be more than just a caffeine kick. It could be complex, expressive, and full of nuance.
Coffee — and coffee shops — have always fascinated me. They play an intimate role in our lives: comforting morning rituals, places to meet friends, moments of pause. But it wasn’t until recently that I truly discovered just how much flavour and potential is locked inside a single coffee bean — and how filter brewing can unlock it more clearly than any other method.
In many ways, coffee is like wine: influenced by origin, variety, process, and climate. But unlike wine, coffee must be brewed — meaning flavour doesn’t just come from the bean itself, but from how you choose to extract it. There’s skill involved. A ritual. A craft. You can’t just open a bottle and pour a glass — you learn, refine, adjust. And that’s part of the joy.
Filter Coffee Club was born out of this obsession.
It’s my personal mission to explore coffee more deeply — tasting widely, refining my palate, growing my knowledge, and connecting with others who feel the same. Every two months, I curate a tasting box of four coffees from top European roasters, often centered around a theme — origin, process, or just an idea worth exploring. It’s not just about drinking good coffee. It’s about learning, sharing, and experiencing it together.
Whether you’re just getting curious or already a committed coffee geek, Filter Coffee Club is an invitation to slow down, taste more intentionally, and enjoy the adventure.
